Massage may be a new experience for you.  So I have listed below answers to some the most commonly asked questions.

1. Your massage will take place in a quiet private room with soft music, the temperature adjusted to your needs.
2. During the massage you will lay face up and face down with your head in a face cradle.  If you are pregnant or uncomfortable a side-lying position will be used.
3. Your modesty and privacy will be respected throughout the massage.  You will be covered with a sheet to keep you warm and comfortable, only the body part being massage is uncovered.  If more comfortable you may leave your clothes on.
4. This is a time to remove the stress from you life and relax.  During this time, taking deep breaths will enhance your relaxation.
5. During the massage feel free to ask for assistance in moving to a more comfortable position or for the therapist to adjust the pressure.

Due to the 2019-2020 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, D & D Massotherapy are taking extra precaution with the intake of each client evaluations, health history review, as well as sanitation and disinfection practices.  D & D Massotherapy requires all clients to wear MASK during your appointment.

COVID-19 is passed through close contact with others and that people without symptoms may be infected, which will put therapist and client at an increased risk of contacting COVID-19.    Please be aware if you have any preexisting symptoms: Over 65, Chronic Lung disease, moderate to severe asthma, cardiovascular conditions, compromised immunity, severe obesity, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, liver disease,  That you are at increased risk if contract COVID-19.  Should you proceed with massage therapy you assume all risk related to COVID-19 infection.

Please agree to inform D & D Massotherapy if experiencing symptoms with COVID-19, or knowingly been around anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or positive cases of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.  (CDC COVID-19 Coronavirus Symptoms:   Fever, Shortness of Breath, Difficulty Breathing,  Dry Cough, Chills, Repeated Shaking with chills, Sore Throat,  Loss of taste or smell, Tiredness.) Staff will work to reschedule when you are cleared of CDC COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days or 2 negative COVID-19 tests.

D & D Massotherapy facility agrees to abide by the same standards.  D & D Massotherapy also affirm that they have improved and expanded their mandatory sanitation protocols set by the Ohio Department of Health to more thoroughly fight the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases. 

D & D Massotherapy can deny services at any time if concerns with safety for staff or clients.  If staff has concern with clients health or exposure they will refer clients to see their Doctor to confirm it is safe to receive massage therapy.
